As a native English speaker and language enthusiast (currently learning Chinese), I understand the ups and downs of learning a new language. I’ve studied language learning and English teaching extensively, and I hold TESOL, TEFL, and CELTA certifications.

I'm patient, encouraging, and never get tired of explaining something again (and again!) — making sure my students feel comfortable and confident, even when they make mistakes.
