During class, he occasionally sneaks into other apps, and if a family member walks by, he’ll close them at lightning speed. I’ve talked to him about respecting the teacher’s time and effort, and although he nods along, he always adds, “But what if I can’t help it?” I joked with him and said, “Use this—use your brain to control ur mind.” He replied earnestly and defiantly, “Yea I agree with you but I really can’t help it. How about this? I’ll prop my eyelids open with my hands and stare wide-eyed so I won’t touch other apps.” So today, I prepared a designated laptop for his class to make it harder for him to multitask. Let’s see what creative new tactics he comes up with!
