Hello Teacher,
I listened to her class today and noticed that she is a bit shy and reluctant to express herself. She mentioned that sometimes she can't think of what to say, there are things she doesn't understand, and even when she does understand, she doesn't know how to articulate her thoughts. I hope she can speak more, without worrying too much about grammar and focus on forming sentences rather than just saying individual words.
I was thinking, could we perhaps encourage her to form sentences using the vocabulary she learns during each class, or answer some reading comprehension questions? Maybe we could assign a small topic for each lesson, such as: "What movie did you watch?" "Who is your best friend?" "What have you learned recently?" These are simple questions that she could prepare for at home, practicing her speaking beforehand. Alternatively, she could prepare content from a specific page of the textbook. Would this be feasible?
Thank you!
