Dear Ivy, Since you didn‘t read the pronunciation of “am”“an” to her firstly,so Rachael didn‘t get the meaning of how to pronunciation the words “ram dam ” “ can pan” and so on、she feels hard to remember those words pronunciation without the base sound of “am an”,hope you can tell her the pronunciation of title words firstly in following lessions to help her to learn more easier ,thanks

OK, I will ask him to practice these words and the sentences for answering questions more often.

外教:ivyshaw 回复:
If he doesn't encounter the new words often enough in different situations, it can be harder for him to remember them. He needs to use the words repeatedly in speaking, reading, and writing to help reinforce them. Also, if the words are taught by themselves without connecting them to things he experiences in daily life, it can be more difficult for him to remember and understand how to use the words.

Hi! Ivy. I'm sorry for replying to you so late! Thank you for your summary. Regarding the words and sentences learned recently, is it a bit difficult for him to study them during class? Does he have trouble remembering the words? He always forgets them when reviewing after class. Can he keep up with the course progress now?

外教:ivyshaw 回复:
No worries! He does have a bit of trouble remembering new words during class, and it seems he often forgets them when reviewing after. To help him improve, we can use a few strategies: encouraging repetition throughout the day, using visual aids like flashcards with pictures to make the words more memorable, and incorporating the new words into simple sentences. This way, he’ll practice both vocabulary and sentence structure, which should help with retention.

Hello, Ivy. I will try my best to ask him to spare some time every day to review these new words and learn to make sentences. The new words may be a bit difficult for him, but we will keep working hard at learning them. Thank you for your patient teaching! See you in the next class!

外教:ivyshaw 回复:
Hello! That sounds like a great plan, and I’m sure with your dedication, he will improve steadily. It’s perfectly okay if the new words feel difficult at first – the key is consistent practice, and I know you’ll make great progress together. Thank you for your kind words, and I’m excited for our next class! See you soon! :)
