Hello my name is Neal and I’m from London England.
Since gaining my TESOL diploma I have been teaching English for three years in China and online.
My most important experience has been teaching English speaking and listening skills to Chinese students, ranging from elementary, high school and university.
I was responsible for:
• Planning and delivering lessons that were engaging and that encouraged them to speak English
• Creating and marking assignments that gave the students the chance to demonstrate their skills E.g. games, speeches, debates, plays, short movies
• Maintaining detailed records to show how much progress the students made
• Organizing cultural events, such as Christmas and Halloween that helped them understand western culture.
I really enjoy teaching because I think the most important aspect of teaching is the student’s enjoyment, your enjoyment.
And I will plan my lessons according to your needs, motivations and interests.
During my lessons I like to talk and ask questions and I will be encouraging you to do the same. As you do this you will develop your fluency and confidence because you are talking about subjects and topics that are interesting to you. E.g. If you're into soccer I can help you learn the most relevant phrases in English and how to use them in a conversation. Then we can talk about soccer and your favorite team!
I’m always happy to see significant improvements in my students after a short period of time and if you book some lessons with me this will happen to you.
