My name is Clare and I am an energetic, friendly teacher based in Glasgow. I have a CELTA qualification from International House London and a MLitt in Creative Writing from The University of Glasgow. I am passionate about supporting students in their learning.
Previously, I was the English Teaching Consultant for Envision Private Ltd in the UK, designing an English and IELTS curriculum for children and young people. I am proud to say that all of my students have passed their IELTS and Trinity Exams. Before that, I was the interim Head of English at the online tutoring of young learners academy British Youth International College.
I have experience across a range of ages and abilities in;

Most of my experience in remote teaching and I am interested in using my experience to continue developing teaching and learning resources in support of remote learning.
In every lesson, I monitor and track my student's progress to encourage them and to assess their needs. I then provide a written report after every lesson for the parents to read and share any feedback which they may have.
I deliver high-quality English lessons and motivate and inspire students to improve their skills and achieve the best they can.
I am a native English speaker with two English qualifications and years of teaching experience.
